What you bring:

  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy, with valid Michigan licensure
  • Background in school-based or pediatric physical therapy settings (preferred)
  • Exceptional skills in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborative approach, excelling in multidisciplinary team settings
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
  • Dedication to accommodating students physical, emotional, and developmental needs

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for students, adjusting strategies to match individual learning needs
  • Deliver direct interventions and consult with teachers, staff, and families for cohesive support
  • Monitor progress, documenting outcomes and recommending adjustments as needed
  • Facilitate access to the educational environment by recommending adaptive equipment or modifications
  • Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and collaborating on student goals
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families to enhance overall educational experiences
