A Physical Therapist opportunity is available in Clermont, FL, serving K-12 students in a dynamic school setting. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week across five days, providing a consistent and engaging schedule focused on supporting the physical development and rehabilitation needs of school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions and treatments to students to improve mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapies and outcomes as required by school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in school team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary support efforts.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license required.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school environments, is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs.
