Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy
• Valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Flexibility to work with a diverse range of students across multiple grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine physical therapy needs within the school environment
• Develop and implement individualized and group therapy plans
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to adapt activities and classroom strategies
• Maintain accurate records and document student progress
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
• Provide guidance on adaptive equipment and modifications to optimize student participation in school activities
• Stay current with best practices in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
