Youll play a key role in delivering therapy services for students during ESY, from June 8 to July 2. With responsibilities spanning just 12 hours per week, youll ensure that students continue to progress with their goals during the summer break.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Physical Therapist (PT) license (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Understanding of ESY services and documentation requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, part-time schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide individualized therapy as outlined in student IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Deliver engaging, effective sessions in a supportive school environment
- Maintain compliance with all relevant state and district guidelines
