Job Description

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting, with SPED background highly preferred
  • Skilled in providing compassionate, creative therapy for children
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a school-based caseload efficiently
  • Eager to contribute to a positive, student-centered culture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for students, primarily in PreK
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support students mobility and independence
  • Document progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and consult with staff regarding student needs and accommodations
  • Provide training and guidance for classroom staff related to physical therapy goals
  • Commit to fostering an inclusive and encouraging school environment
