This contract position for a certified Physical Therapist offers a full-time schedule supporting a vibrant school environment near the Enfield, CT area. You'll collaborate with a dedicated educational team to deliver engaging therapy and make a positive impact every day.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) certification/license for Connecticut
• Prior experience working with school-aged children or in an educational setting is preferred
• Strong understanding of age-appropriate physical therapy interventions for middle school students
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students motor skills and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy goals within the classroom and school community
• Maintain accurate progress notes, documentation, and reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Support students in reaching their functional and educational goals
• Promote a safe, inclusive environment for all students
