Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active New Jersey physical therapist license
• School-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies for students with a variety of needs and abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students needs and eligibility for school-based physical therapy services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals
• Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and other school professionals to support students success and access to education
• Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and provide recommendations for classroom modifications or adaptive equipment as needed
• Educate school staff and families on best practices to support students motor development and physical well-being
