Job Description

What Were Looking For:

  • Masters degree in physical therapy (required)
  • Active and valid New Jersey physical therapist license (required)
  • School-based or pediatric physical therapy experience is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills for working with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team
  • Strong organizational abilities and adaptability to work across elementary, middle, and high school settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized physical therapy assessments and interventions for students
  • Partner with educators to develop and implement IEP goals and 504 plans
  • Document all services and progress according to school procedures and guidelines
  • Educate school staff and parents on mobility and adaptive equipment needs
  • Provide consultative services and in-services as needed
  • Travel between schools within the district as assigned
