Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Prior experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Detail-oriented, compassionate, and able to adapt to dynamic school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop effective therapy plans tailored to students unique needs
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote students access to educational opportunities
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Offer guidance on adaptive equipment and strategies to maximize independence in the school setting
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team planning and professional development initiatives
