Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric PT setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of K-12 developmental milestones and individualized education program (IEP) processes
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals
- Ability to manage a flexible part-time schedule up to 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing, planning, and implementing physical therapy interventions for K-12 students
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation to align with IEP goals and legal requirements
- Consulting and partnering with teachers, school staff, and families to deliver effective therapy services
- Promoting students participation, mobility, and independence within the school environment
- Providing training, resources, and support to school staff on safe and effective physical assistance strategies
