Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid state license in Physical Therapy
  • Experience in a school-based setting or strong clinical pediatric background
  • Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and school documentation requirements
  • Comfortable working independently and within interdisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to assess, document, and effectively treat a diverse student population

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and physical assessments for students referred for therapy services
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized physical therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative services to students in classrooms or one-on-one settings
  • Train and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff on supportive strategies for student mobility and participation
  • Maintain compliant documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued team member
  • Monitor and report student progress consistently
