Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state license in Physical Therapy
- Experience in a school-based setting or strong clinical pediatric background
- Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and school documentation requirements
- Comfortable working independently and within interdisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to assess, document, and effectively treat a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and physical assessments for students referred for therapy services
- Develop, implement, and update individualized physical therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students in classrooms or one-on-one settings
- Train and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff on supportive strategies for student mobility and participation
- Maintain compliant documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as a valued team member
- Monitor and report student progress consistently
