Key Qualifications:
- Valid AZ Physical Therapist license
- IVP fingerprint clearance card essential
- Experience in school settings or pediatric care is an advantage
- Strong communication skills for partnering with teachers, families, and students
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to a diverse range of needs and developmental levels
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in PreK-8th grade
- Evaluate students, develop IEP goals, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support each childs educational journey
- Offer recommendations and training to school staff as needed
