Empower students with your expertise as a Physical Therapist in a supportive educational setting for the upcoming spring term. This onsite contract role offers you the flexibility to work full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time (2-3 days/week) with a focus on serving K-12 students across two school sites. From January 4th to April 15th, 2027, you will collaborate with a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to help address a caseload of approximately 44 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Washington Physical Therapist (PT) License
- ESA Certification
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or related physical therapy settings is highly valued
- Ability to develop rapport with children and adolescents
- Strong documentation and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to K-12 students, supporting their mobility, access, and participation
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions based on student needs
- Work closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support student progress toward IEP goals
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Supervise and collaborate with a full-time PTA to ensure quality care and consistency
