Job Description

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina Physical Therapist License
  • Interest or prior experience working with children in a school setting is a plus
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive environment for students with diverse physical needs
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and fellow staff
  • Passion for fostering student success and development

Primary Role & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services tailored to individual IEP goals for students ranging from PreK to 12th grade
  • Evaluate and document student progress, adjusting plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Educate staff and families on appropriate interventions and strategies
  • Maintain organized records and ensure services meet state and district requirements
  • Provide services 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
