Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Illinois Physical Therapist license
- Experience or strong interest in school-based or pediatric physical therapy
- Familiarity with K-12 caseloads and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Ability to provide onsite therapy services during regular school hours
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with their IEP goals
- Assess students needs and develop targeted intervention plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Participate in meetings, IEP reviews, and progress monitoring as required
