A school-based physical therapy position is available in Carlisle, IA, offering a contract role within an educational setting. This opportunity involves providing physical therapy services to students, supporting their mobility, motor function, and participation in school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to develop and implement student goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by school policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid license or certification in physical therapy
- Experience working with pediatric populations in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
