Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy
• Current and valid New Jersey physical therapist license
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric environment strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication skills for collaborative teamwork with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs across different age groups

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students referred for physical therapy
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
• Deliver direct and consultative PT serviceshelping students improve mobility, access to learning environments, and functional independence
• Document progress, maintain compliance with school/district regulations, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide education to staff and families on strategies that encourage safe movement and participation
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support
• Adapt your approach for various developmental stages, from elementary through high school
