Qualifications:

• Masters degree from an accredited physical therapy program
• Current New Jersey physical therapist license
• Strong assessment and therapeutic intervention skills
• Experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff
• Adaptability to address diverse physical and developmental needs across various age groups

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough student assessments to identify individual physical therapy needs
• Develop and implement personalized intervention plans for students from elementary through high school
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and special education teams to support each students educational goals
• Deliver both direct therapy and consultative services in accordance with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Educate staff and families on techniques, exercises, and equipment recommendations to support student achievement
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation of interventions, outcomes, and communication
