Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Solid grasp of pediatric therapy techniques, adapting care to individual needs
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and parents
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Clear communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' needs
- Design and deliver targeted interventions that foster student mobility and independence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to craft Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Document therapy progress, ensuring compliance with school and legal guidelines
- Offer guidance and strategies to school staff and families to support students in the classroom
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to improve student outcomes
