Job Description

This rewarding contract position offers two distinct caseload options: an Early Intervention assignment (11-month duration) and a K-12 opening. Begin making a difference from August 10th, 2026 through June 17th, 2027 in a full-time capacity.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Maryland Physical Therapy license is required.
  • Experience working with school-aged children or in early intervention programs is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability to address diverse student needs.
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive educational experiences.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group physical therapy services to students per their IEPs or intervention plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine students physical development and therapy needs.
  • Develop tailored treatment goals, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students access to the educational curriculum.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation aligned with district and state standards.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
