Desired Qualifications:

• Active license to practice Physical Therapy in Vermont
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Recent experience working with children, preferably in educational or pediatric settings
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Familiarity with IEP development and progress reporting
• Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and problem-solving abilities to adapt interventions to individual needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct Physical Therapy interventions for students with diverse abilities
• Conduct assessments to determine students physical needs in an educational setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to multidisciplinary IEP meetings
• Track student progress through clear documentation and periodic evaluations
• Educate teachers and caregivers on supportive strategies for student mobility and participation
• Participate in school-based initiatives and staff development activities
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to school-based therapy
