Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of California
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Solid assessment and documentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Positive, adaptable, and collaborative spirit
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students motor and functional skills
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students physical therapy needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services
- Educate staff and families about strategies to promote student independence and mobility
- Adapt therapy interventions based on student progress and school resources
