Qualifications:
- Current, valid Texas license as a Physical Therapist
- Previous experience or strong interest in school-based practice
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong skills in progress documentation, communication with families and staff, and adaptation of therapy plans
- Commitment to ethical practice and supporting students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of students, conducting assessments and developing individualized service plans
- Provide direct physical therapy interventions on-site in accordance with IEPs and student needs
- Offer consultative and indirect services, collaborating with teachers and school staff
- Accurately track progress and maintain timely documentation, updating goals and interventions as needed
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, administration, and families regarding student status and therapy recommendations
