Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting students by serving as an onsite Physical Therapist in a vibrant educational setting near Brentwood, CA. In this contract position, you'll work closely with a caseload of 11 students, providing essential physical therapy services to help them reach their fullest potential. The workweek is designed to be manageablejust 10 hours per weekoffering the ideal opportunity to make a significant impact while maintaining flexibility for your other pursuits.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid and current California Physical Therapy license
  • Previous experience delivering PT services in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
  • Capacity to tailor interventions and communication to students individual needs
  • Excellent time management and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite physical therapy interventions to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Assess students mobility and physical development, developing appropriate treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Provide guidance and resources to staff and caregivers to reinforce therapeutic recommendations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student assessments
