Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Physical Therapist interested in making a positive impact within a vibrant K-12 educational environment near Boston, MA. This onsite, part-time contract role is ideal for professionals looking to support students physical development and well-being. Work three days a week, from 8:00am to 1:00pm, engaging with a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Massachusetts Physical Therapy (PT) license
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Confidence working with K-12 student populations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to individualized student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to students in alignment with IEP goals
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Consult regularly with teachers and staff to integrate therapy into classroom activities
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reporting
  • Educate staff and caregivers about strategies to support students physical development
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging environment for all students
