This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated physical therapist seeking full-time work (up to 37.5 hours per week) throughout the academic year, with a start date of August 11, 2026, and a completion date of May 27, 2027. Youll be instrumental in supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade, ensuring their access to individualized therapeutic support within a welcoming educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health.
• Experience working in academic settings with students across a wide age range is ideal.
• Ability to travel between multiple school locations on a consistent basis.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Completion of fingerprinting and stringent background clearance per district guidelines; familiarity with the AHCA Clearinghouse and JLA badge procedures is advantageous.

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, develop, and implement physical therapy interventions for students ranging from early childhood through high school.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEP goals.
• Travel between assigned school sites to deliver services efficiently and consistently.
• Provide thorough, compliant documentation and progress reporting.
