Provide specialized physical therapy services within an educational setting, working closely with young students to support their developmental and physical needs. This part-time position offers the opportunity to engage with early childhood students in a school environment near Bolingbrook, IL, with a focus on delivering evaluations and therapy that foster growth and independence.
Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois (onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical therapy evaluations for early childhood students, currently serving a caseload of four, with potential for growth.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and families.
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to meet student needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation consistent with school and licensure requirements.
- Attend relevant meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Illinois.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to commit to 4 hours per week onsite (1 day per week).
