Desired Skills and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Pediatric or school-based PT experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Comfort with developing and implementing IEP goals and related therapy interventions
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP requirements
- Conduct assessments and document progress on student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions
- Provide training and resources for school staff and families as needed
- Maintain accurate record-keeping and comply with confidentiality guidelines
- Collaborate with other professionals to support student development in academic and functional domains
