What you'll bring:

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Active and clear NM physical therapist license
• Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings (highly preferred)
• Comprehensive knowledge of IEP processes, goal development, and documentation practices
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to serve multiple campuses and diverse student populations

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing students motor skills, needs, and abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
• Delivering therapeutic services as indicated by IEPs, 504 plans, or consultation requests
• Participating in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and contributing to multidisciplinary teams
• Documenting evaluations, progress notes, and service delivery accurately and promptly
• Educating school staff and families on strategies to maximize students participation and independence
• Providing direct and consultative services within classrooms, gymnasiums, and other school environments
• Supporting smooth transitions for students between grades and school levels, promoting functional mobility
