Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
- Current and valid Physical Therapist licensure in the state of New Mexico
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Exceptional ability to communicate and build rapport with children, families, and school staff
- Outstanding organizational skills and adaptability in meeting diverse student needs
- A team-oriented mindset with a passion for holistic student development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to determine physical therapy needs and develop tailored intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy as required through IEPs and 504 Plans
- Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain and update documentation in accordance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Engage in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations as a valued member of the educational team
- Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment for every student
