Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity making a difference in the lives of students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. This part-time position is available immediately and runs through June 2026, with a strong potential for renewal and the possibility of increased hours for the following academic year. Youll work 1-2 days per week, providing vital physical therapy services in an engaging, supportive educational environment.

Your expertise will help support students growth, independence, and success, collaborating with educators and staff to tailor therapy plans and interventions that fit the unique needs of each learner.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification as a Physical Therapist with current state licensure
  • Demonstrated experience working within school settings
  • Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • High degree of adaptability, compassion, and professionalism
  • Prior experience serving diverse student populations across multiple grade levels desired

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services for students in Pre K through grade 12
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
  • Maintain thorough documentation in line with school policies
  • Consult and communicate regularly with staff, teachers, and families
  • Adapt interventions and strategies to meet each students needs and learning environment
  • Stay current on best practices in pediatric/school-based physical therapy
