Job Description

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Experience in school-based physical therapy, with a particular focus on PreK populations
  • Prior exposure to special education (SPED) settings is strongly preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish capabilities are an asset
  • Skilled in adapting plans for various developmental and physical needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group physical therapy to PreK students, fostering mobility and participation
  • Evaluate and develop treatment plans tailored to student goals and IEPs
  • Work closely with educators, SPED staff, and families to integrate therapy within the school day
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with educational and therapeutic standards
  • Offer support and recommendations for classroom accommodations and adaptive equipment
