Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
  • Preferred previous experience in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to create individualized treatment plans and document progress effectively.
  • Familiarity with IEP development, goal setting, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students gross motor and functional mobility needs within school settings.
  • Develop and implement customized interventions that address students physical challenges.
  • Collaborate with special education and general education staff as part of the student support team.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on student progress and goals.
  • Educate students, staff, and families on physical development, proper equipment use, and activities that support improved function.
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements.

Compensation for this position ranges from $43.00 to $65.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
