Job Description

Embrace a rewarding contract opportunity as a Physical Therapist serving students across a diverse district with a strong commitment to student well-being. This position starts August 11, 2026, and runs through June 2, 2027, supporting the education community in and around the Berkeley area in a very itinerant role. With a small caseload at each assigned campus, youll experience a variety of school environments and have the meaningful chance to make a difference for students from early childhood through transition ages.

  • Valid California Physical Therapist license
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working in K-12 school settings
  • Ability to manage a flexible, district-wide itinerant schedule
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Dedication to collaborative, student-focused practice
  • Confidence providing PT services across a range of age groups
  • Commitment to meeting the physical therapy needs of diverse students

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering on-site PT evaluations and treatment as assigned across up to a dozen school sites
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborating regularly with teachers, school teams, and families
  • Keeping thorough, compliant documentation
  • Traveling to various campuses as needed to support student success
  • Consulting with IEP teams to ensure each students needs are met with care and expertise

This on-site role features a 37.5-hour work week, giving you ample time to make meaningful connections and impact.
