A contract opportunity is now open for a school-based Physical Therapist supporting students from pre-K through 12th grade for the current academic year in the Nottingham area. This role focuses on providing essential therapy services to students with a range of disabilities, including autism, cognitive delays, and medically complex needs.

What were looking for:

• Active Maryland Physical Therapy (PT) license
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or healthcare settings, especially those with mild to severe disabilities
• Familiarity with IEPs, goal-setting, and documentation procedures
• Ability to adapt interventions for diverse learners and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Compassionate approach and strong communication skills

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services in line with each students individualized education plan (IEP)
• Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions to support mobility, motor skills, and participation in school routines
• Adjust therapy strategies for students who are medically fragile or have significant support needs
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to promote student independence and success
• Maintain thorough records and progress reports according to school and regulatory guidelines
