Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license (LA PT) required
• Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy is highly preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with students, staff, and families
• Organized, dependable, and able to function independently within a team
• Commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and following professional protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy evaluations and develop customized treatment plans for a K-8 caseload
• Deliver direct therapy services one day per week, one hour per week, ensuring compliance with students IEP goals
• Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
• Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other specialists to support each childs mobility, access, and participation in school activities
• Maintain thorough and timely records, reporting progress and challenges to the appropriate school staff
