Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' growth as a Physical Therapist for the upcoming 26/27 school year, starting in August. This part-time contract role presents a balanced schedule, serving a dedicated caseload at a single school site. With just nine students, your expertise will make an outsize impact, requiring only one day a week on-site, with approximately seven hours per week.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license for the state of Indiana
- Experience or strong interest in working within a school-based setting
- Ability to commit to a consistent, once-weekly on-site schedule
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for fostering student development and independence
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy interventions for students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations for student mobility and safe access throughout the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to facilitate student success
- Maintain accurate documentation for all student sessions and progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
