Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Experience providing therapy services in school settings is valued
- Solid grasp of IEP development and implementation preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with students, families, and school staff
- Commitment to supporting school-aged children with diverse needs
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students per their IEPs and established goals
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs and create effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on PT-related student goals
- Train school staff and caregivers in strategies and accommodations to improve student outcomes
- Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams to support a comprehensive approach to student growth
