Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy
- Current Minnesota physical therapist license (required)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a varied caseload with elementary, middle, and high school students
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and schools
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services within school settings
- Maintain clear and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student IEPs and 504 plans
- Provide guidance and training for school staff regarding equipment and access needs
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusion across all areas of the school community
