Make a difference this school year while supporting students physical development! Were seeking a talented Physical Therapist to provide onsite coverage for a maternity leave during the 2026-2027 school year. Located in a welcoming district near Andover, MN, this opportunity offers the chance to partner with a dedicated educational team and positively impact student growth.
Youll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with 37.5 hours per week. The role runs from early September 2026 through late December 2027, offering a rewarding contract assignment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and active Minnesota Physical Therapist license (must be submitted with application and resume)
- Experience working as a PT in a school setting or similar pediatric environment is preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly and provide seamless care as maternity leave coverage
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Compassionate approach and a commitment to supporting student abilities and independence
- Comfort with variable caseloads (caseload details will be provided as soon as available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative PT services to students, supporting mobility, accessibility, and participation in educational activities
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure optimal outcomes for each student
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state reporting requirements
- Provide continuity of care and creative problem-solving for a diverse student population
