This is a rewarding contract position for the 20262027 academic year, providing school-based physical therapy services onsite and working closely with students, educators, and families.

Qualifications:
- Current, valid California PT license required
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in a school setting preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education physical therapy
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative PT services for students as outlined in IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student participation and maximize independence
- Monitor student progress, document services provided, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide training and resources to school personnel regarding best practices and adaptive equipment use
- Maintain detailed records compliant with state, federal, and district policies
