This is a rewarding contract position for the 20262027 academic year, providing school-based physical therapy services onsite and working closely with students, educators, and families.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid California PT license required
• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in a school setting preferred
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to special education physical therapy
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative PT services for students as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student participation and maximize independence
• Monitor student progress, document services provided, and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide training and resources to school personnel regarding best practices and adaptive equipment use
• Maintain detailed records compliant with state, federal, and district policies
