Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current Physical Therapist (PT) license in Connecticut
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for middle school age students
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with student IEPs and educational objectives
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, monitor student progress, and adjust strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and participation in school activities
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and district policies
- Offer guidance to educational teams on adaptive equipment, accessibility, and classroom modifications
