An opportunity is available for a licensed Physical Therapist to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Holyoke, MA. This contract role offers a full-time schedule, providing essential therapeutic services to help students improve their physical functioning and achieve educational success.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide physical therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress regularly
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff regarding therapy goals and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing school-based physical therapy services
Qualifications:
- Current Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
- Knowledge of K-12 educational environment and therapeutic protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseload independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Work Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
