A school-based physical therapist opportunity is available in Amawalk, NY, offering a contract position that focuses on supporting student health and mobility within an educational setting. This role requires a licensed physical therapist skilled in pediatric therapy and experienced in working collaboratively with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to enhance student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans tailored to students' physical needs
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional abilities
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate therapy goals within the school environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions

Qualifications:
- Current physical therapy license valid in New York State
