Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Physical Therapy license in the state
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in developing and implementing personalized therapy plans
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload and adapt to changing priorities
- Commitment to student-centered, inclusive care
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' physical therapy needs within the school setting
- Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans, in alignment with educators and families
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group, supporting students' mobility and participation in school activities
- Provide guidance and resources to teachers and staff, promoting integration of therapy goals into daily routines
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation for all services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student progress and goals
- Stay current with best practices and relevant laws or guidelines in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
