Qualifications:

  • Completed Masters degree in Physical Therapy
  • Current and valid Louisiana physical therapist license
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy (strongly preferred)
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to navigate diverse caseloads spanning elementary, middle, and high school students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students motor skills and functional needs within the school setting
  • Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the educational team
  • Support students participation in classroom and extracurricular activities
  • Provide education, resources, and consultative support to teachers and families
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to multidisciplinary teams
