Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy (required)
• Current and valid New Mexico physical therapist license
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students motor skill development and physical therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students in elementary, middle, and high school
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students functional mobility and participation in classroom activities
• Monitor progress and document interventions in compliance with IEP objectives and state regulations
• Provide in-service training and consultation to school staff as needed
• Foster a positive learning environment that promotes independence and inclusion for all students
