With a flexible schedule offering 15-20 hours per week, youll work closely with students, teachers, and families to develop and implement personalized therapy plans that improve mobility, promote physical well-being, and maximize each students potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license
- Experience providing PT services within school or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of the needs of K-12 students in an educational environment
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for working with faculty, parents, and other therapists
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students' physical therapy needs
- Develop individualized plans of care targeting student goals and IEP objectives
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students in both group and one-on-one formats
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation of student progress and services provided
- Collaborate with other educational and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student care
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
