Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time paraprofessional, working on a contract basis in a supportive school environment near Yuba City, CA. This opportunity focuses on providing dedicated assistance to students with Level 3 Autism, supporting their educational and developmental growth. The caseload is highly active and will require compassion, resilience, and a solution-oriented mindset from skilled paraprofessionals.

What youll bring:

• Experience as a paraprofessional in educational settings
• Confidence and competence in supporting students with Level 3 Autism or similar intensive special needs
• Patience, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm when working with complex behaviors
• Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
• Reliability for a full-time scheduleMonday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Core responsibilities:

• Work directly one-on-one and in small groups with students on a very intense caseload
• Assist teachers in implementing academic and behavioral plans
• Support instructional activities, social integration, and daily living skills development
• Collaborate with the broader educational support team to adjust strategies as student needs evolve
• Ensure a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Communicate progress and observations to supervising teachers and staff
