A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Paraprofessional to support student learning and development within a dynamic school environment in Woodland Park, CO. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist certified teachers in delivering instructional support tailored to diverse student needs.
- Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students requiring additional academic or behavioral support.
- Help implement classroom management strategies to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Support students with special needs by following individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting instructional materials.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families to encourage engagement and collaboration.
- Monitor and report on student progress and behavior to teachers and school staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Paraprofessional or similar educational support role.
- Strong understanding of child development and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented school setting.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to student growth.
- Familiarity with classroom technology and educational tools is a plus.
- Relevant paraprofessional certification or coursework is advantageous.
