This rewarding contract opportunity is full-time, with hours from 7:50am to 3:50pm, Monday through Friday, allowing you to be an integral part of a supportive school community. Youll focus on fostering student success within a singular school setting, utilizing your skills alongside dedicated educators. Bring your passion for empowering students and help shape their academic journey during the Extended School Year period.
What Were Looking For:
- Valid Paraprofessional Certification (Parapro Cert required)
- Experience supporting high school-aged students in an educational environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability in a classroom setting
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and students
- Prompt availability to begin upon clearance
What Youll Do:
- Provide direct classroom and individual support to students ages 1521
- Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
- Encourage student engagement, independence, and participation
- Support students with diverse learning needs as they work toward their goals
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Contribute to a collaborative and encouraging educational atmosphere
