Desired experience and qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational or support role

- Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners, including those with special needs
- Organizational skills to assist with instructional materials and classroom setup
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or education-related certification preferred
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for student success
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting lead teachers in instructional activities and classroom management
- Working directly with students, offering individualized attention as needed
- Supporting students with classroom assignments and comprehension
- Facilitating engagement in inclusive activities and helping with transitions during the school day
- Contributing to a positive classroom atmosphere by encouraging respectful and constructive peer interactions
- Communicating observations and progress to classroom teachers and special education staff
- Helping maintain an organized, safe, and supportive environment
