Desired experience and qualifications:

• Ability to adapt to the needs of diverse learners, including those with special needs
• Organizational skills to assist with instructional materials and classroom setup
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or education-related certification preferred

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting lead teachers in instructional activities and classroom management
• Working directly with students, offering individualized attention as needed
• Supporting students with classroom assignments and comprehension
• Facilitating engagement in inclusive activities and helping with transitions during the school day
• Contributing to a positive classroom atmosphere by encouraging respectful and constructive peer interactions
• Communicating observations and progress to classroom teachers and special education staff
• Helping maintain an organized, safe, and supportive environment
